New DS10xx family of BASIC-programmable Industrial Controllers combines mechanical strength with elegant appearance.
4xRS232 device is the first member of the DS10xx family, but this line of Industrial Controllers is about much more than just a simple RS232.
Models with isolated serial ports, universal RS232/422/485 ports, digital and analog I/O, and GPRS are on the way.
The Conference will be held on Sept. 19-20 at the Hynes Convention Center. Tibbo booth # is 207.
This TIDE release features all-new Project Browser and Parser. New Parser is much faster, and also understands local
declarations and variables. Additionally, the tooltips (for variables, procedures, etc.) now allow HTML formatting.
The update also includes new TiOS firmware files for our hardware.

Tibbo announces modular BASIC-programmable EM/RJ1202 Ethernet solution
Tibbo's new
EM/RJ1202
offering includes two separate modules.
BASIC-programmable
EM1202 Ethernet module features 4 serial ports and 32 I/O lines in a tiny 19x17x14.6mm stacked PCB form factor.
Optional RJ1202 companion module combines a standard RJ45 socket, Ethernet magnetics, and 4 status LEDs in a shielded 15.5x19x15.5mm housing.
Measuring only 19x32.5x15.5mm combined, the EM1202 and RJ1202 occupy the same board space as the older EM202 device.
Moreover, the RJ1202 face dimensions match those of the EM202, which eliminates the need for housing modifications
when upgrading to the new EM/RJ1202!

Running TDST under Windows Vista
We are happy to inform that TDST (V3.9.82 and later) works normally under Windows Vista, however, the UAC (User Access Control) will need to be disabled. A new version will be released later on, which will work under Windows Vista with UAC enabled. Please remember that you must install and run the Tibbo DST with administrative privileges to have it work properly under Windows Vista.

Beyond Device Servers -- TAIKO Has Arrived!
Programmability is here! Tibbo has released a brand-new programmable solution -- Taiko.
You can now fully customize our products, using BASIC as the programming language!
With BASIC, our devices are no longer confined to being simple Device Servers. Our new programmable devices can perform virtually any intelligent control or communications function -- exactly like you want them to.
The choice of BASIC as a programming language offers two advantages: There is an existing workforce of programmers who already know the language, and development in BASIC is usually fast. This combination facilitates rapid application development -- for Tibbo devices! Visit the Taiko homepage, and go beyond Device Servers!

New DS202 Serial Device Server released
The DS202 is a new addition to a growing family of Tibbo's external Device Servers.
While being fully compatible with the original DS100 Device Server, the DS202 sports a 100BaseT Ethernet port, extended 12KB routing buffers, wide 9-25V supply voltage range and significantly smaller external dimensions. Device Server comparison chart can be found here.

Two new Ethernet Modules released
We are proud to announce two new Ethernet Modules (Embedded Device Servers): miniature (32.1x18.5x7.3mm) 100BaseT EM200, and low-power (~50mA) 10BaseT EM120.
EM200 and EM120 complement Tibbo's new "RJ45" EM202 Module released earlier this year. All three Devices are functionally compatible with each other and upward compatible with the EM100 Ethernet Module. Module comparison chart can be found here.

New TIBBO.NET service portal
New TIBBO.NET service portal provides the last crucial link that glues your distributed data collection system together. New service lets you access remote Tibbo Device Servers over the Internet without the need to assign expensive real IP-address to each remote node.

New Multi-IP feature simplifies communications with multiple network-enabled serial devices
Until now a single virtual COM Port created by the VSPD (Virtual Serial Port Driver -- see the right column on this page)
could only "point" to one preset destination IP-address. But what if your PC software needs to work with several network-enabled
devices located at different IPs?
One solution is to create several virtual COMs (one per each IP). This is inconvenient and application software may not support
simultaneous use of several COMs.
Solution comes in the form of Multi-IP table -- a new feature in Tibbo's Virtual Serial Port Driver. New Driver allows you to
create, within a single virtual COM, a table of destination IPs and dynamically switch between these IPs basing on the contents
of the outgoing data stream.
