Question: I have installed the TDST, and when adding Virtual Serial Ports in the VSP Manager, or when opening a VSP in my program, it takes a very long time, or it just hangs and times out. Why is that?
Answer: The most probable cause for this problem is that you have another Virtual Serial Port installed, by another vendor, which conflicts with Tibbo's VSP.
Most likely this is a Bluetooth adaptor.
To resolve this, please completely remove the other adaptor (uninstall all of its software) and try again. The VSP should work smoothly now.
Note: Not every Virtual Serial Port from another vendor conflicts with the Tibbo VSP. This happens only sometimes, depending on the implementation selected by the other vendor.
