Question: I am trying to install the Device Server Toolkit software for Windows downloaded as file TDST_xxx.exe from your website and getting the following error after clicking the 'Setup' button: The install shield Engine (iKernel.exe) could not be installed. The system cannot read from the specified device.
Answer: There is a bug in the InstallShield software. On some PCs the installation fails when you do the installation from the self-extracting ZIP file (nobody knows why but developers of InstallShield acknowledge that the problem exists). What you have to do is download a ZIP archive of the installation, unzip it on your PC and run setup.exe.
